Lyda has always worn many hats. As a pediatric physical therapist, she has spent her career working throughout the state of Hawai’i helping Hawai’i’s children with developmental delays and disabilities. She learned early on just how much the smallest moments shape a child's development.

As a mother of two young keiki, she was living that truth every single day. And as a deeply creative person with a love for Hawaiian culture and the place she called home, she created Keiki Kruisers.

Nearly two and a half decades later, seeing keiki wear her designs with pride is the greatest reward Lyda could have hoped for.
